About

Fifteen years learning to see the gap.

I didn’t start out looking for wasted spend. I learned to see it one role at a time. Every job taught the same lesson from a different angle: the reported number and the real number are rarely the same, and the difference is where the money goes.

The operator’s arc

From brand builder to revenue architect.

01
Foundation
A media & advertising agency

I learned to tie marketing to a number a client could feel.

I started on the agency side, part of the senior team at a media and advertising shop. I owned business development and built B2B and B2C go-to-market plans on real cost-benefit analysis, pricing, and budget forecasts. The plans that worked returned triple-digit ROI, for our clients and for us. I directed an international team of project managers, designers, content, and sales.

The reported number and the real number are rarely the same. Learning to tell them apart became my whole career.

02
Built from zero
A specialty healthcare practice

I built a marketing function from nothing.

Hired to grow a practice in a market where the rules kept shifting, I built the whole marketing function from scratch. Brand, a product portfolio, and acquisition and retention that I ran across every channel myself, from the copy to the creative. Then I hired and trained the first team to run it with me.

When you build something from nothing, you learn where every dollar goes. You are the one spending it.

03
Digital transformation
A regional bank ($3.4B+ assets)

I built the first paid channels nobody was watching.

I stood up the bank’s first paid search and social programs, its first digital funnels, and the first social advertising compliance procedures the institution had. In the first weeks I opened the accounts and found $7,000 of ad spend running with no return, and pulled it. I saved another $32,000 by moving creative in house.

A channel nobody owns is a channel nobody checks. That is the first place I ever watched a budget quietly leak.

04
Enterprise B2B
A national wealth-management network

I ran acquisition for a niche, high-intent audience.

Leading a cross-functional team of more than twenty, I built the account-based engine to recruit financial advisors. Precise targeting and a rebuilt funnel cut acquisition cost while lifting conversion, and I compressed the onboarding timeline that had been slowing every deal.

Strategy that nobody executes is just a well-formatted opinion. The teams that won were the ones where the plan and the hands were close together.

05
Startup GTM · VP of Growth Marketing
Freeman Capital (WealthTech)

One operator owned the whole number. And it worked.

The CEO recruited me in as Vice President of Growth Marketing to own revenue for a mission-driven WealthTech platform built for underserved communities. I set the go-to-market strategy, built a scalable demand-gen function from zero, and ran strategy and execution as one accountable person, in the same dashboard the founder read.

When one person owns strategy and execution, there is no translation layer to lose the point in. This is where Operator-Led Growth stopped being a theory for me.

06
Revenue marketing · Lead Gen Mgr → Senior
A $160B+ wealth network

I could see the whole funnel and still watch budget die.

Across two business lines I ran demand generation and pipeline growth, built the nurture funnels on Salesforce, and reported the numbers to the business-unit heads, and I was promoted from Lead Generation Manager to Senior along the way. I built the engine that drove $107M in marketing-influenced pipeline and $22M in closed-won at 27.57 times return on ad spend, grew campaign output 180 percent without adding headcount, and one afternoon found 1,200 qualified leads mis-staged and stranded in the CRM, revenue we had already paid to earn and nearly lost to a gap in the handoff.

I had the whole picture and still watched money die in the one place no single person was accountable. That gap is what I named, and it is why gRO exists.

Every discipline, one operator

The hats I’ve actually worn.

Fifteen years across agency, healthcare, banking, and wealth management taught me each of these end to end. Not managed from a deck. Run, with my own hands, accountable to the number.

Growth & revenue leadership

Owned the pipeline number and reported it to the C-suite and board.

Paid acquisition

Built first paid search and social from zero. Search, social, and media buying, hands on the accounts.

Lifecycle & retention

Nurture and email that held 98 percent monthly paid retention.

Conversion optimization

Rebuilt funnels and landing pages, and the message-match that stops the click you paid for from leaking.

Analytics & forecasting

Dashboards, TAM analysis, and predictive models across hundreds of thousands of data points.

RevOps & martech

Salesforce, Sitecore, and CRM hygiene. Once found 1,200 qualified leads stranded in the pipeline.

Demand gen & ABM

Account-based engines for niche, high-intent B2B audiences that don’t respond to spray and pray.

Copywriting & content

Whitepapers, webinars, and the words that actually carry the offer.

Creative & brand

Built brand from the ground up and moved creative in house to save six figures.

Go-to-market & product marketing

Positioning, pricing, and launch for products and platforms across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C.

One operator who has run all of it is one operator who can run all of it. That is the whole case for Operator-Led Growth.

Where this points

Every role taught the same thing from a different angle. Know the platform without the company and you target the wrong continent. Know the company without the platform and you write briefs nobody runs.

I do both. That is the whole idea, and it is what I named The Accountability Gap.

“I could see the whole funnel and still watch budget die in the one place no single person was accountable.
